So I trust your opinions and always feel safe as a mutual and so I wanted to ask you, but dont want to post publicly. I have always identified as gay. I'm a man and I only find other men attractive sexually. I only find male bodies attractive - I'm reading that this is bigoted because I should be attracted to anyone who identifies as a man. But. I don't? I just can't form an attraction to a non male body. Is this a fetish? Is it wrong? A kink? I'm ashamed to ask anyone, I feel wrong and hate myself for it
Listen, I'm not a trans activist, I can only speak for myself, not for other trans people, not even for most of them. That being said:
No one can force you to be attracted to trans men the same way you cannot be forced to be attracted to any other man. I am sure you don't feel attracted to every cis man you encounter - so they're just men you're not attracted to either. That's not bigoted, as long as you're treating trans people with respect and recognise trans men are men regardless of whether you are attracted to their bodies or not. It's certainly not a fetish or kink. That's just you liking dick, dude 🤷♂️
Plus, I think trans men are hot enough for the both of us 🥵

I tried talking to those 2 mutuals. One said he didn't want to have this prefix put on him and that was all he wanted to say about it. So IDK. The other one, she said she didn't like being told she had to have a gender identity and she was happy as herself without having to and she had abuse for saying she doesn't have a gender identity before so could I "just respect that and not call me cis as I don't have any gender identity and didn't chose any label" we had a brief exchange then she blocked me😬 IDK!
i mean I can't do any credible judgement here, I don't know them, I can't see the convo but from what I see transphobes say about it for days now.... it's the exact same. So. yeah they just seem transpbobic. 🤷♂️

With all this about the term Cis. I'm now questioning friendships. One of my mutuals said he actually felt uncomfortable being called Cis because it wasn't a label he had chosen and it was put on him, and another said she has always been uncomfy and didn't want to say because she thought she would be hated, and I soft blocked one of them then felt unsure myself. Do you think they're being transphobic? They both seem like nice people I liked seeing on my timeline but I don't know how to feel now. Idk?
depends ig, I don't know your mutuals ot any context, so it's a bit hard to say. generally, cis is a prefix, not a slur or label, that simply signifies the opposite of trans. so it could be that they're somewhere on the genderqueer spectrum and are simply not comfy being called cis or... yeah. at the very least buying into transpbobic talking points. doesn't always mean outright transpbobia, just y'know, bit of ignorance. idk. genuinely, I don't mind if people don't want to be referred to as cis, but it's just... a descriptor. it's like saying "the woman in the red sweater". it just makes language easier. 🤷♂️

Don't let others concepts of stereotypical male or female actions restrict you. I'm gender fluid, my friend is trans masc and we both shave because we like the feel of it, especially in hotter weather. Has nothing to do with gender for us. I know cis men who shave their legs. Equally know people of various genders who don't, or do sometimes. I don't view anything as gendered behaviour, just what I like or don't like. Go for it if you're comfier in hot weather or just like it.
I don't want to shave, I never wanted to shave for myself once in my entire life, the only issue is that I have a thing called social anxiety that's not that easy to handle. so society's expectations on me are something I'm kinda very tied to, whether I like it or not.

According to the P5T website there’s going to be dlc with other “long awaited” characters and bruh The Boi when Atlus plunks him down in dlc jail again. I just pray Sumi and Zenkichi and Sophie are there too
🤷♂️ tbqh I won't play the game, because I suck at tactic games, the story seems completely uninvolved and unserious, I don't know the strikers characters, I am really just vibing and happy for everyone who gets Goro and whoever they want, if they like the game! The P3 remake has me more excited at this point lol

In the UK we say working from home. Home office is a specific government department, so whenever you say you are doing home office, it sounds super cool, like you're a government officiate. Please take this list of problems the uk has and sort them for us! ( / light joke, intended affectionately)

What's your favorite persona fic that you've written? Got any recs from other authors as well?
My favourite is my Prince Goro one, Kiss me, Crown me, Put me into words, when it comes to rec, I got a whole bookmark folder full, but some of my current favourites are the Lovers Reversed series, Pocket Watch, In vino veritas, he looks so pretty (like a devil), A Prince for Christmas and the next time around!

How did you get so good at writing? Was it something you just kind of got better at over time through practice? You keep tense so well. I swear I keep on shifting whenever I try. So, uh, in short, any tips?
Honestly, yeah! I always had sort of a knack for it but I still started out very clumsy and then slowly got better and better the more I wrote (and read!) and taught myself a lot of stuff based on my own preferences. Honestly, the only tip I can go is to keep going and to keep writing and to edit afterwards if you know you're prone to skipping tenses - and also, if you keep slipping into the same different tense, to maybe try and examine the idea of writing in that one fully, since your brain seems to default to that lol My brain has the tendency to slip in the tense I last read a lot in, so once in a while I catch myself slipping into present tense too, but moooost of the times I catch it. Other than that: keep writing, keep reading, keep examining what works for you when you read and what doesn't and adapt that into your writing! Write from your heart. Don't stress yourself too much - the only way to get through is through! :3

I was honestly just asking cause I was curious if that was something that could be talked about in the shuake fandom? Like I know this place is pretty accepting but I didn't wanna pull up some day and be like "oh I used to be in the dsmp fandom" and get my ass roasted 😭
oh no, it didn't, no worries, they were coming for something else lol you never know what sets them off haha I can't really help you with that stuff, I don't watch a lot of english speaking youtubers! rpf is always a bit of a delicate topic for sure, people react to it very differently.

Asking this anonymously cause this fandom been under a lot of fire but have you ever read any dsmp/sbi fics? The fanbase could get really toxic at times and they're cancel-happy but I did really enjoy some of their fics, they've got some great authors there (I got into without even watching the creators first if that tells you anything!)
