When I gave up drinking for a while, I saved about £220 ($291 / €251) over 72 days. That would be more than £1100 ($1457 / €1255) in a year.

40€ per month (Video games). But I like it, so I won't give it up right now.

Nicotine: 10-15€ every 1 week for liquids => 520-780€ per anumn
Drinking: 20-40€ every 4 weeks for social drinking => 260-520€ per anumn
Coffee: 15-20€ every week at the campus cafe => 780-1040€ per anumn

I think there is an unexpected development, my biggest vice is not bringing my own cup of joe.
