Anything that promotes killing people will get banned sooner or later. The bible order to kill the canaanite for example. And other people which are alive today.
It makes a kind of sense - conservatives don't want anybody actually reading the Bible too closely, what they want is clergy dictating what and how people should think, that way they can mold thought to their desires instead of anybody accidentally picking up any of that peace and love nonsense from books 😛
