How big a deal is a language barrier for you in a relationship? Like if you were very physically attracted but they barely spoke a word you could understand? Would you make the effort to learn their language? Want them to learn yours?

I think the novelty would wear of within a couple of days at the most for me. I like conversation - and there’s only so much sex you can have before the chaffing issue rears its ugly head - and giggling and pointing would become really tiresome.
