Renahv is interested in contest style battles, but he struggles between his normal style being too efficient and setting up flashy epic finishers.
Silvana's original design was going to be Elf instead of a Catgirl! She was going to remain an Otaku character however, but be very tech savvy and a Catgirl fanatic, so she'd have a holographic tail and ears but everyone I explained the concept two didn't really get it.
The Elf and the Catgirl fanatic trait are both things that ended up in Linnaea, so I guess that idea did see the light of day in the end-
Odd actually has a form of dyslexia: due to his two brains (one of them specifically hardwired/align with a plane of existence where everything is distorted), he'll occasionally see/process writing in a way where it's very jumbled up.
He was able to get handle on it pretty early (kind of working backwards with words based on what what letters are in them they appeared mixed up) and its essentially a non issue as an adult, but it can occasionally flare up pretty bad when he's feeling stressed or upset.
Elio metaphorically lost the light in his eyes - leading to a much duller expression, and was mute for a time. They were the result of his "re-education" via his "special classes", and clear signs of the severe mental trauma that inflicted on him, which took some good years to mostly recover from.
So, while he had re-undergo the same character development that led to him discovering his emotions - albeit under a different context and linked to different settings, he learned and predominantly used sign language for a good amount of his time under his assigned Aura master, and later during his time with TUA - up until his third-year, where he and his close friend, Artemisia made profound breakthroughs in their respective mental health journeys.
Mariah is fluent in 8 languages! As part of her curriculum from a very young age, her mother had her learn many languages so she would be able to communicate and network with business partners around the world.
