What makes you feel like you’re an actual fan of something? Do you like learning all of the information you can manage— or maybe you like actively participating in the fandom or community?

UHHMMMM I COUNT MYSELF AS A FAN BY LIKE . KNOWING STUFF ABOUT IT.. like lore and stuff

He considers Himself a fan if He enjoys xyz & knows at least basic information。⠀ Other than that、 He does not really have much criteria ・・・

I struggle a lot with socializing so I’m not super active in a lot of hololive spaces— but I love sharing about it! I’ll talk to anyone and everyone about hololive ( besides those I don’t like ) & I really like discovering new facts about it! I think the biggest factor to why I call myself the biggest hololive fan is my dedication to it— I’ve never had an interest come even close to how much I love hololive, and how much it means to me … I can’t imagine that anyone can even understand how much I love it!

Either of the two. I just have to actively seek to learn a lot of information about it. There can still be gaps, but I should know the fundamental stuff and be interested in it.

Additionally, a good metric for my passion about something is whether I start talking to myself about it, and how much I have to say.

i do know alot of information about skyrim!!! ... engaging in the community? mmm not a fan, majority are 28+ year old men who are single and sexualize every. fictional. character. slight glance at the community on nexus

I do both of these kinda. I literally know everything there is to know about chainsaw man and I interact with the fandom pretty often (although I hate a huge percentage of them …… there’s like a select few of csm fans on twt that are really cool though)

id say participating ++ just talking abt it makes me feel like im in the fandom tbh ,,
