Your doctor?

I wouldn't know, the one long-term illness where I needed documentation from a doctor, it was the other way around - he was all like ' so how long do you want to be out for, bro?' OK OK I added the bro but the rest is for real

'I feel sick, and I don't think I'm in a position to be able to work. Its company policy to seek a formal sick note to take absence, do you agree I'm sick? If so could you please provide me with a sick note?'

I do see my doc and ask for it. When he decides I'm sick I get one.
