When was the last time you had to cry because of a sad moment in a tv-show or a movie? Do you remember? And, if you want to share, what was that moment about?
I had to scroll back through my IMDb to remember, I teared up quite a bit watching this anime movie called Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms. It's about an immortal girl who fosters a mortal son, and the difficulties their relationship faces in some random fantasy world. I didn't even expect it to hit hard but it definitely did by the end when she had to leave him and came back to find him an old dying man. Big oof.
Years ago. Might've been when I was watching the final episode of Fringe.
I have never cried over anything on tv
Goddamn Guardians of the Galaxy two.. Father figures dying at the end or pets dying always gets me
World's Greatest Dad (2009) with Robin Williams.
Its about a man who loses his son to auto asphyxiation. The scene in question had a musical number and ended with him looking up and seeing his son swinging.
