what is your opinion on wanderful precure so far
i like komugi i think her head is full of flour. i don't like yuki's alien antenna things. i'm keeping a close eye on how they frame komugi and iroha's relationship in-show because their interactions speak gay love but there's a very big possibility they're going for the sisters angle. it's a treacherous battlefield for a yuri warrior. hirogaru sky got my hopes up and it turned out to be mid so i hope this season doesn't suck

do you have a merch white whale? like a holy grail you have not found yet and stuff. for me its the mini figurines of the gumi design from the gumicle album. ive only seen one listing in my life... well ive been lucky finding some of my other white whales (including the megpoid the music preorder figs!) so maybe one day
hmmmm i'm not really an avid merch collector/hunter... i guess i would say probably the limited editions character voices/drama cd's that plott released for holidays and didn't rerun; but also those are just files and not physical media so it wouldn't be necessary for anyone to redistribute those for money exactly. i'm probably forgetting something vital if i remember it i'll add later

have you ever thought of opening requests for short translations? this isn't a solicitation or anything more like i see people do it sometimes recently so im curious
i do actually have a section for really short translations on my commission sheet for pocketlink but the more i think about it the more that i feel like it's not really worth it i guess? like if i'm translating that has about the complexity of a puyo quest card's flavor text and 3 lines the most i would charge for that is 5 usd but it's also so like. nothing. that i might as well not be getting paid yknow. and i feel like if people want to see something short tl'd they'd go for machine tl anyway (as long as it's for summary/personal use and not being used in place of a real translator). translating short stuff also leaves a lot of room for context to get lost especially in japanese so even getting a human OR a machine to tl something short they could easily miss something

whenever anyone mentions 9/11 i remember that seth mcfarlane had (has?) a fantasy in his head where he genuinely thought (thinks???) that if he were on the plane he could've stopped it and he wrote a family guy episode based on this where brian the dog is on the plane and stops 9/11. so based on this my answer is one single lucario

h-hi... i searched drayton kieran on twt and found your acc. funnily enough, i had the exact same thought with one of your tweets like why ppl kept arguing about kieran and drayton lmao that ex-champion comment hurt for sure but i thought about the other instances where drayton talked about kieran's passion and joy for pkmn battles. in my humble opinion, i think drayton can be manipulative and something probably happened many times to make carmine and crispin talk about drayton that way but it all boils down to his intention and how he actually admitted to the pc about his "plan" in relations to kieran.
anyways i hope we get more kieran and bb e4 content in the epilogue and hopefully future unova games manifesting i love them these characters and the challenges that come with their teams. your drayton and kieran headcanons are so fun. in the sea of ppl fighting about them, the amount of ppl liking them is so small in comparison but i think their dynamic is gold 🤣
"manipulative" is a strong word to use for drayton imo especially considering the fact that he can't be more than 17 max. i guess you could argue that he "manipulated" the player into participating in his plan but that's only because characters in pokemon games very rarely give you the chance to say "no, i don't want to do that". i would also more likely consider the possibility that drayton just gives off Bad Vibes to carmine and crispin and the other e4 members; there isn't really evidence that he had to have done something manipulative on purpose for them to have that opinion of them. i personally can be really blunt sometimes but if people go around saying i'm "harsh" that doesn't mean something significant must've happened for them to think that way of me. that's just kind of how i am. some people are naturally sarcastic and secretive and drayton is both of these things

as for "how i write them so well", if that isn't meant to be rhetorical, when it comes to gunvolt i largely treat the cast like my oc's. a lot of it draws from personal experience. to make an example out of merak, he's a character who is depressed, chronically ill, and neurodivergent, written by someone who is all of those things. i also have been into gunvolt for literal years at this point and have had plenty of time to weave a narrative in my head about certain characters. teseo is a character i have multiple complex headcanons about, but every gunvolt character i write about has been built piece by piece over the years. gibril for instance i always thought would be neat if she had a musical motif, "metal" for her septima, so in iui i had her pick up guitar. it's little things like that, and they stack up
when writing characters that aren't yours i feel a helpful thing to keep in mind is to rationalize the "why" behind their behavior. especially if it's in regards to something negative. with merak, i don't try to ignore the fact that he has low empathy and sometimes has a callous disregard for others' feelings; i instead rationalize it as it being a symptom of autism. it makes them seem a bit more human that way

so i havent really took the time to really comment on iui beyond my quick sketch but i really enjoyed how you wrote milas and how you decided to lean into his 'older brother' part of his (theoretical since its not like we see much of him) character and him being chill with teseo with the fish doctor / flying fish flu stuff! also i wanted to ask what was your hc regarding him being familiar w chronic pain bc seeing it being brought up from him made me happy as someone who has issues similar to merak, even if it might be unrelated to him personally and is more of smth he picked up from working with the seven in general. anyway i hope you feel better soon ami, im more familiar with your gv stuff than your other works but the stuff you write when it comes to the g7 means everything to me honestly. thank you for everything you do
having merak learn more about chronic pain through way of milas is kris' idea and something he threw out when i was spitballing wanting to write merak being chronically ill but not having the self-awareness to realize it on his own. i imagine milas was pitched because of the comedic potential https://twitter.com/rrofb/status/1357334902933344265
