Oof size: large. The short answer - it was a huge bummer at first, but I remain undeterred from botmaking in general. It sucks to see cards you put a lot of love into suddenly have their audience reduced because... being in a high school may lead your model to generate underage characters (yes, this is the rationale that has been explained to me), something that has happened to me precisely zero times, either in testing or as a general user. NSFL tags in general baffle me - 'rape' is fine but 'alcoholism' is not, so it's not intuitive at all. How I'm supposed to make informed choices about the content I create is beyond me.

Having said all that, NSFL as a concept is an understandable concession to get on iOS, and I understand why the mod team is jumpy about it given the fact that they're volunteer, by definition underpaid, have to look at some truly horrible shit, and then get bitched at for doing their best to take care of the community. I don't really blame them for the ambiguity around NSFL tags, externally or internally (I've had different answers to what "High School" should apply to, for example). It's not their fault that there's no standardization or strict definitions, or that they need to defend frankly weird decisions by the site owners (who I also can't be terribly mad at, they both have full-time jobs apart from taking care of chub, and I understand that means being reactive sometimes instead of proactive).

In the end, I want to see a system that is transparent, well-defined, and consistently applied, to create a level playing field. I fully admit that my motivation for that is being able to effectively compete at number go up, which absolutely is one of my motivations for making cards (a natural result of the site owners intentionally gamifying the site). But I don't wanna wallhack, like some people seem to think.

One other note: artificial opacity around NSFL tags only weakens the community. It's like DRM - it doesn't effectively deter the exploiters, but it does hurt those who wish to follow the rules.

It was not wrong of you to think I am the ur-weeb, I've seen just... so much anime. Except that I've shied away from most of the long-running shonen stuff. Gimme 12 or 26 really great episodes and call it a day. Except for FMA:B, which was fucking perfection.

Hey! First off, I'm devastated to discover that my anypov bots actually aren't. Inclusion is ridiculously important to me, and I take pride in the fact that 95% of my cards are, or at least I thought were, anypov.

I've done a bit of chatting with folks who play as ftmpov/cuntboypov to get some more insight, because I'd rather give you a solution that is more universal than just a custom card. The main feedback I've received is that models just don't get it (which is understandable just as a result of the relative rarity of source material) and that putting the relevant info in persona/chat history can make the RP hornier simply by virtue of adding the relevant bits to what's getting sent to the model every input.

So, not to say that I've given up, because I haven't, but I need to do more research and playing around. I've never played ftmpov, mostly because I have zero frame of reference, but I'll give it a shot for science!

Ahh, I'm sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I cringe like fuck at some of the shit I have written in my bots, especially the older ones. But, there are a few things that I found really helped me when it came to number go up. Scrubbing my card images to make them all SFW (-ish, I know there are a couple like Kiyomi that are more risque) had a bigger impact than I expected. Putting a little effort into my profile seemed to help quite a bit, too. Being significantly different in content from the typical futa cards is a big factor - yeah, I've got some typical futa fetish dommey stuff, but I think people really dig the angsty futa drama and Sachiko's comedy stylings, which are more rare in the genre. So if you can find a good niche and polish the fuck out of it, y'all might beat me someday. Let your hatred for me fuel your creativity!

Lots of people really prefer group chats, and I get that (in general) models will handle the individual characters better that way, but I've never had a good group chat experience. Even using lorebooks for important character stuff doesn't seem to work very well, and its always felt flat compared to single-card experiences. I acknowledge that there's a good chance I'm just doing it wrong! But, apart from a few weird hiccups on YMAYC, I've had really good experiences with my 2-character cards, so I'm probably gonna stick with that format.

I really like your bot idea, and will add it to my backlog. I already have an idea for her backstory, and her issues are gonna be a bit more deep than lack of experience and bad influences (surface-level, anyway).
