hi and thank you this is so sweet 🩷 they’re not doing so hot actually BUT the important thing is they will be doing good eventually!!! once renjun admits to himself that he is not in fact happy after betraying the person dearest to him to try and lead the upstanding life expected of him…and does something about it. he has a lot of guilt to work through but he’ll get there. in the meantime jaemin’s getting pretty good at fighting!! as a rich kid dropped into a rough school he was an easy target at first but he’ll have biceps to show off to renjun by the time renjun comes around
to be honest I felt a little bad after I posted that drabble and people asked if I would continue it and I was like uhhhhh no? I didn’t expect it to gain that much traction so I freaked out a little, but ultimately I’m very glad people enjoyed and still remember it 🫶🏼

I’m glad you liked it 🩷 this is a very valid question…jaemren were both rich kids who went to the elite high school together (at least for a while) and were really close!! a bit too close if you know what I mean. so close that when they got into trouble for it - I’m thinking caught getting frisky in the locker room, which would easily be considered unacceptable conduct in a strict/conservative school like theirs - jaemin chose to take the fall and was expelled, while renjun was painted as a victim. jaemin’s parents dgaf so he just got himself enrolled in the nearest high school so that he could continue to see renjun, but renjun’s attitude towards him changed almost completely after that </3 since he was expelled near the end of year 2 jaemin had to repeat the year at ddanghak while renjun went on to year 3 at haneul 🫶🏼

ur new renmin is so good….. i had a feeling jaemin was either a ghost or grim reaper. i truly loved it thank u so much for sharing this one!! also icb its under 4k ive so many feelings n things to say about it its unrealll. i know theyll eventually be together n get to experience love they deserve but in the mean time i hope renjun realises theres love everywhere around him. all for him to love and to be loved.
thank you!!! funnily enough my original concept was for jaemin to be a grim reaper but a little bit into writing it sort of morphed into something else…as someone who averages 10-15k fics to properly develop plot and/or emotions that makes me happy to hear!! this is probably the most concise I’ve ever been 🥹 and you’re right, there’s a lot of love to be experienced and a lot to love about life in spite of how difficult it may be to feel that way sometimes. that was something I hoped to convey I appreciate you very much for picking it out 💕

That jaemren kiss video... jmin's outfits made it look like Make A Wish!Jaemin time travelled to the future and meet current Renjun.
the way I had to stop and think about which kiss video you were talking about as if they kiss all the time (they do in my head). this is true jaemin has silver blonde hair like maw era too 🥹 I kind of feel like 2020 jaemin would be unprepared for how openly affectionate 2024 renjun is willing to be with him but maybe that’s just me!

I have a headcanon where rj saw how jaemin who lifted other dreamies easily and it awakened something inside him. Like, the movement, the muscle flex, the grunt, and how smooth the swing of jm's hands kept being replayed in rjun's head. That's why he gets embarassed everytime he trains at the same time as jmin at the gym
for someone who never sets foot in the gym I sure do enjoy gym scenarios. also is it crazy that right before I read the last line of your ask I was thinking about how renjun complained about the noises jaemin makes when he’s at the gym and how that factors in so we’re on a similar wavelength I think 🙏🏼 let’s just say I don’t think renjun is really there to get buff with his tiny weights and knit sweater. there has to be another reason

hi rei i love your fics! what are your thoughts on nomin as a ship? cause i feel like as one of the most popular dream ships it's a given that they're soulmates in basically every universe in one way or another, either platonically or romantically (and i love both). do you only ship them platonically or do you just prefer other jeno/jaemin ships like jaemren & nohyuck? (alternatively......norenhyuckmin 👀)
I think nomin complement each other fantastically and if you see one of them in my fics the other probably isn’t far behind 🩷 that being said I’m more invested in renjun ships generally so romantic nomin isn’t my go to!! I still adore their relationship which is why I’ve written a fair bit of platonic nomin in my jaemren fics. and yes to norenminhyuck! every combination of 00line is so dynamicful and appealing to me…while I’ve never written 00line poly (only jaemren + nohyuck in a single fic) I’m all for it. thank you for liking my fics! 🫶🏼
