It depends on the situation. If they said it out of nowhere, I'd feel incredibly confused or even uncomfortable, and my response might be something like, 'Oh? Okay... Thank you???' But if they said it during a deep convo or in a supportive context, I'd still be surprised, but I'd express gratitude and inquire further about what they said

Gue bukan yang rajin nulis sih. Tapi kalau lagi stuck gitu suka baca-bacain tulisan orang/nonton/dengerin lagu buat cari inspirasi, terus dibikin review tentang apa yang barusan dikonsumsi. Dari situ suka muncul argument sendiri yang akhirnya dibuat tulisan tersendiri

Gue lagi nonton anime 'that time i got reincarnated as a slime' ini lumayan seru dan lucu, bisa dicoba
