- If I were a researcher studying sports performance, I would be pretty interested in seeing if the relative increase in performance after her transition was predominantly driven by cognitive development or physical development. It's possible to leverage a better comprehension on how that process works in order to further improve the swimmers' performance and possibly ensure a fairer competition for all parties.
- Unfortunately there aren't enough trans women swimming, especially at higher divisions, for such a study.
