How to decipher abstract art?

Does it need to be deciphered? Can’t we just appreciate it for what it is - a mess usually.

So I have 4 abstract art prints in my house (used to hate the idea of them). Some are pretty clear, but there is 1 where I feel like I need to decipher it... probably because its shit :P

Abstract art is no secret alphabet. When you see a person in between the fancy lines it is a person for you, if you see just fancy lines that is you too. Abstract art just means what happens between an artwork and yourself.
