For birthday parties, weddings and other social gatherings like that~ When clients have specific themes she sees them as an opportunity to exploit her creativity!
Nellcher has also being hired to work for private events 😳 She does gets nervous to satisfy the customers expectations, luckily she gets compliments on her work!

For events with family and friends she goes all out to make it even more special than expected ;P Nellcher likes to give surprises so once an important event of a close one is coming up, she takes a month ahead to plan out the recipes and getting the right packaging for the sweets~
She makes fancy dessert tables with food that the celebrated person will like and also makes sure to bake a big birthday cake!

(P.s. Nellcher didn't make the cake for her own wedding because Augustine didn't want her to stress out even more before the ceremony dkfjvnkjn)

She got Cinnamon as a thank you gift from the Daycare that Nellcher volunteered at back at her father's home region!
(I used to have Laurel be from Hoenn but then I didn't felt so sure about it and now I'm having him be from a region based on Mexico~)
Nellcher was a volunteer during her teen to young adult years, the Aron egg was given to her when she was a teen so it has kept her company for quite some time 🥺 Aron grew attached to her quickly ;;

Cinnamon is overprotective of Nell as it has seen her cry multiple times so it doesn't trust anyone outside of the family. Though it has let her friends be close to it except for one Kalosian man lol

To be honest, I wanted French sounding names 😂 At first I did planned on giving them flower/plant based names because those are commonly used for Pokemon characters! But then I switched to having them be more common.

Antoine is very French lol and it starts with an A just like his dad's name. Wanted his name to fit a smarty and adventurous kid.
Nino felt like a sweet name to me, I imagined him as a shy and adorable kid and wanted a name that could evoke that. Then as same as Antoine, I wanted one to have a name starting with the letter N, just like his mom.
Madeleine was gonna be named Noelle at first! Then decided to change it (so I wouldn't steal Meow's cute oc's name <3) but I couldn't find a fitting name until I got hit that she could have a name based on a sweet treat that would go perfect with her momma's baking passion :')

They're all nice to each other! Of course there's little fights over toys, snacks and usual tantrums coming from them haha But overall they're good siblings :'3 (until once they're more grown there's a drama between them and they fight 👁).

As expected, the three kiddos are really loving towards their parents TTvTT (and Nellcher and Sycamore are spoiling parents lol) Antoine is respectful to them (they all are), Nino is amazed by their abilities and knowledge and Madeleine looks up to both for being so dedicated to their jobs.
The kids took Nellcher's stubbornness so things aren't that easy when it comes to parenting but both parents are very patient and they love their children ;;

On what I have for my lore, the people of Kalos would rather not talk about it. It is acknowledged but most would rather not discuss the topic. Much like ignoring the elephant in the room, so to speak.

Nellcher didn't heard of it until she accidentally eavesdropped Sinna and Dexio one time she visited the lab but didn't confront Augustine about it, she didn't want to make him relive those harsh times.

Eventually, Sycamore does tell her yet only one half of the story, the one every one knows. It isn't much later that he confesses about his relationship with Lysandre and how it affected him.

AND YES SHE DOES!! Nellcher has an Aggronite! And it's funny because Sycamore was the one that gave it to her 😆 he knew that it would turn Cinnamon even more strong (and scary) but he valued more the happiness of his darling ;; It was a surprise gift.

Nellcher arrives to the Kalos region one year later after the main events of XY, she landed the barista job one month after settling in thanks to a friend of hers who also happens to work at the café! Her name is Maren :D
Nell keeps working as a barista for a fairly long time and within that term she polished her skills as a baker, which is a hobby for her at said moment. All of her close ones encouraged her to keep baking.
She realizes she enjoys it more than anything else in this world and seeks for workshops around Kalos to learn more, Nellcher can't drop her job so she only studies and practices on weekends.
Once she takes the decision to leave, Gaston offered her to work as the head baker of the café if she ever decided to come back but he also offered her the generous option of using the continuous building as a pastry shop so she would have a space of her own. Gaston wanted both places to be next to each other so he would sell her exclusive desserts and she would offer his coffee. He valued Nellcher and saw great potential in her from the moment she brought her first batches of desserts, Gaston acknowledged her efforts and when his tests were a success, he always praised her for bringing more clients. This was his way to give her thanks for all that she did for the café.

Nellcher did wanted to have a place of her own and Gaston's offer was something that she would only see in her wildest dreams. She loves Flame Body Café but of course, she wanted to go her own way. It was a hard choice for her.

But after having a long conversation with Gaston, there was a deal. She accepted his offer. Nell became the pastry chef of FBC while being able to keep her own shop, it is heavy duty but she got help.

I have to mention that before she travels, Nellcher gets engaged to Sycamore lol They get married after her she comes back from her journey. After their honeymoon, she opens the shop and works on specific days at the café to keep the quality control. Then the rest of the week she stays on her shop baking and decorating~

I KNOW THIS IS TOO MUCH BUT. This could have been longer because the lore is very heavy -sobs-

(Coordinator era lore omg...) Even when she failed, Nellcher doesn't hate Coordinators and Contests themselves. She despises her grandmother and what she made her go through. To hate and despise is a strong sentiment but we're talking about a young girl who was forced, guilt tripped and neary mentally broken to follow into a career she didn't want to.
But still, Nell would rather watch from afar on a screen than to step a foot onto the Contest buildings, walking into one would only make her relive that exact moment where she felt the most miserable.

Years later, her son Nino takes an interest in being Coordinator and she encourages him to follow that dream, Nellcher knew what it meant to follow a dream and despite what she lived, she would never stop her child.
(And Nino does become a Master Coordinator but he willingly gives up his title to be his Dad's lab assitant ;; )
