I made best experiences so far with vouchers, though some say it is not personal not individual enough, and it is in fact a bit lacking personal affection, but any other gift can be even worse if you do not know the person in question very well. I tought a bottle of Champagne could do no harm, but it was considered "too posh" and "proposterouos", I tried with flowers but that was "too girlish", I tried with books, but that was too boring, I tried with perfume, but that was unethical, and so on .... only once I gave a very cute girl a panty hose of a luxurious brand and she totally was in love with it. Though I didn't get kissed. LOL . Anyway, best is to know from personal knowledge, second best is to ask, third best is..tadaa, a voucher. Did you know people hate it to get luxury skin care products as gifts? They say: " Oh, she thinks I need to wash more often!"... there are endless ways to turn a gift against you when they want, so better be prepared for a failure.
