‘Creative Writing’. You can teach someone spelling and grammar and punctuation, but you can’t teach someone imagination - and writing is all about imagination. Teaching a roomful of people how their characters must develop, how their work must be structured and their stories progress is stifling creativity, not encouraging it.
I hesitate to say that any are TBH. The idea that some disciplines are more valuable than others is some weird capitalist sheeit (e.g., "if it doesn't land you a well-paying job then it is a pointless major") and it doesn't really sit right with me anymore. It devalues knowledge for knowledge's sake.
With that said, I'll say the "pre-medicine" major because that should not be a thing and I hate pre-meds lmao
