It's stupid. Instagram is owned by Facebook aka Prudebook. The people who work at Facebook must wear chastity belts.

It's their site, their rules. Personally, I would allow exceptions on artistic, historical, or medical grounds. Then again, I've never been on instagram and I have no idea how things are done there.

The sight of body parts isn't harmful. People are so f&cking stupid. And I'm not just talking about Instagram execs. I'm talking about the people who would get angry if they showed nipples that put potential pressure on them, I'm talking about nudity requiring that movies get an R or or an X rating, I'm talking about the fact that we're forced to wear clothes, I'm talking about the issue over public breastfeeding, etc.

The nipple is well known to incite the male to want milk products and if they were clever enough to exploit women in this way to sell more produce we would give the feminist movement a new focus. I just made that up.

I'm a big fan of female nipples - if a lady wants to show it off, and wont get mad a me looking at them. More power too them!
