MJ def. I don't really listen to his music, but I think he was neat. Was never into Elvis.

Elvis has a much greater cultural effect, but MJ was more musically revolutionary and just a better artist all around. Not to say that Elvis wasn't a great showman and musician, but Michael was a genius. Something special. I really appreciate Elvis, but to be honest there were contemporaries that fought in his weight class. Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Ritchie Valens... Basically no one was on MJ's level in his time, maybe Prince or Madonna.

Well both artist's are talented and very important figures in music and have made a big impact on music today. However in my opinion Michael Jackson broke more barriers then Elvis. I mean Michael Jackson made Thriller. That video was amazing, imagine if that video never came out how boring videos today would be. Also Michael Jackson has the best selling album of all time.
