personally I don't really have anything against eating any of them TBH, you eat what you have available to you, some people have buffalo or goat or salamander or whatever is indigenous to the area - do what you gotta do

That is mostly based on your cultural upbringing. I’m not going to tell anyone what they should and shouldn’t eat as long as it’s not cannibalism, have at whatever your heart/stomach desires.

All are food somewhere on earth plus all are pets for some people somewhere. The difference is that people emotionally connect with an animal or not. Culture selects for us what to prefer to pet and what to prefer as food though there is no reason to pick one over the other. I do for instance like ducks and people doing one of them harm rank very low in my esteem. And I have eaten duck meat! Totally weird!

All pets except chickens, pigs and cows. Pigs might make good pets, too, but they're a little exorbitant for my family.

Dog: pet
Rabbit: pet (some make food out of it, I don't judge)
Horse: pet
Reptiles: both
Rodents: pet (I think eating a rat would be a true nightmare)
Chickens: why not both?
Pigs: same as chickens
Horse: same as horse
Cows: both
Ducks: food
