I'm sorry I'm terrible at asking questions to your characters "In character" xD

So I will ask a question en masse that you all can answer in char for any char you like.

"If you battle what prompted you to start. If you don't, then why not?"

Nettle stopped battling due to the death of her partner pokemon
Orchid just doesnt like her pokemon to get hurt more than they already have, but will if forced
Astra just found a career she liked more, as a trainer school tutor/teacher, which means she does a lil battling but she could prolly beat her regions E4 if she rlly wanted to?? shes just vibing
Weiss just doesnt care either way lmao

Elio: "Well, I'm just like any other trainer or coordinator. I battle to improve not only myself and my Pokemon but to learn something new. If a battle will help me or someone else better than themselves, then I'm definitely down! No use in refusing a challenge. Not to mention, battling is usually a good stress reliever in my opinion. Whenever I get into a battle, it feels as if all my other worries momentarily fade away. My mind, body, and soul are dedicated to winning the battle before me. Ultimately, I wanna prove that I'm one of the best battlers around!"

J: Battling for me probably means something a bit different to most people haha...
M: Because not everyone throws themselves into the fray like you do darling.

"I'm an E4 member. I'm bound to have battles, is tedious really. Is rare for a challenger to make it all the way to me, and when it happens 8 out of 10 times is just very disappointing. I don't really like to talk about it, but I was raised to battle. So that's what I do, even if it's just tedious."

Manson: "At first it was adventure. Then after reality hit like a truck, it became an endless quest to make sure reality doesn't hit any other kids like it did me."

Don’t worry about it 😅
🐛Charlie - I saw my brother Milo and best friend Viola battling and figured I should try it!
⚡️Labi - My Big Bro Raihan got me into battling of course! I was 11 when he became a gym leader and when he got his first hundred fans, I knew I wanted to be like him!

"Battle for sport never really took root for me. I can understand the appeal, and I've certainly been entertained and excited by a few league showings in the past, but more often than not my experiences with battle for my partners and myself was more in... Self-defense than in leisure. In those instances, losing wasn't much of an option, and my team and I are still processing some of the circumstances as to why that was. If for nothing else, I try to stay clear of battle for the sake of my friends: those mons deserve some peace and I'd rather not put any undue stress on them."
