I only use the usual with very limited effect, I listen to my gut feeling and if something resonates I might make a first move. If I do I put up my best smile. If that doesn't cause an echo I'm out. If it does the usual suspects used are eye contact, hand contact, talking. What actually is my secret weapon is to go with the flow and not putting pressure up. Sorry, no surprise for you I fear.
