Yep. I like the German "Semmelknödel". Those are made with fine and coarse chopped old and dry buns, chopped onion and parsley, a bit of milk, salt, pepper and butter. They can be eaten after cooking or even better when they are fried afterwards a bit in butter in a pan, so the become a bit golden brown and medium brown here and there. Those are the ones I like best.
