it seems i got the duet prediction wrong… at least we got 3 covers this time.
either way, haruka5 is confirmed, which means the cap is being raised, inevitably.
since the enstars collab does have a gacha, i guess that means no tsukasa in vd… i'm a bit hesitant about shiho. maybe they will do len? somehow lol.
well, the 4* cap has already been raised with movie miku haha. also i believe tsukasa could still be in VD, if they're evil
i think len can happen if they do mafuyu+mmj, bc mafuyu+shiho+len would be the exact same units as kanademix3
either way, the choices im feeling most for VD are:
mafuyu+minori+shiho
mafuyu+mmj+tsukasa
mafuyu+mmj/tsukasa+niigo len
im not Truly feeling mafuyu+shiho+whoever because it'd be the same as kanademix3, as i mentioned; the afterlive could be niigo+mmj, i suppose, but ehh

it seems we got the leo/need member wrong lol, but kanade + saki does check out. also rin is slightly surprising but tbh i didn't really think she was going to appear in the next event, mainly because i'd rather not have her get another mmj comm, especially with how due she is to appear in l/n, vbs and wxs… so i'm assuming it's either luka (vs with lowest 4* rn, has 3 mmj comms) or meiko (only has 2 mmj comms; kaito does, too, but he has more 4* and just mokai specifically just got a lim so i'm not really feeling him)
also 4th event in a row a vbs character appears… lol, at least kohane not in gacha (and she was kinda due for an event card). isn't vbs in america rn, though? i only play on en so i'm not sure😭
my predictions don't really change, besides mizuki probably being the 3* in vd? and a nene 3* should appear next month… hopefully.

also yes, vbs is in america, and explicitly are staying there. so this is either timeline fuckery (event taking place before they left) or kohane's just a flashback / phone call (?). or she's just there, somehow. funny
for VD, i'd say mafuyu being there is very likely... not sure about the rest of the 4*. mafuyu + shiho + minori, with shop mizuki, makes a lot of sense i think. but i feel it'll be wrong somehow

as for why akina and jiena are there… anhane cover, maybe? kanaena got a duet (n25) and then ruikasa (wxs), and since vbs i behind in covers, i guess it's possible?

yeah, if the event is based on the guests as usual, it should be mmj next month. i think there's a chance it's minori6 rather than haruka5 (because of the story), but oomf explained to me how it could be haruka5 first then minori6 and it made sense, so currently i think it could go either way. i'd 100% expect the VS to be rin though, she really needs a new comm and a 4*
akina and jiena are simply there, i'd say. it doesn't have to mean anything. Perhaps it means something, but it doesn't have to
statistically, an ankoha cover can happen. vbs is extremely likely to get at least one cover due to being behind, and ankoha haven't had one in a long time so... it Could happen, but it's not necessarily guaranteed just because of the guests, imo

hmm… honaka + luka/meiko actually makes a bit of sense. maybe mizuki 3* and ichika 2*, then? to have space for possible new interactions or smth. also to give them event cards considering they're due, and nene should probably appear in a wxs event as a 3* next month, probably? otherwise she's also possible.
as for valentine's… mizumafu + minori > tsukasa definitely seem like the good choices… but i think the 4* cap may be raised soon anyways? miku will soon be at 22, like i said, and the only characters left at 19 are minori, luka and rin. minori and luka are probably appearing this month, and then rin could appear as a 4* in the next group event? so len could have a chance.
as for the 4* in a row thing… true, but i wouldn't be surprised if they also break that, atp. i mostly agree with your predictions, though (all of n25 getting vd 4* would be foul tho, so maybe it could be tsukasa instead of mizuki?)
yeah that was pretty much my spec haha. honakana+VS, with shop mizuki and ichika. nene instead of mizuki could work too, and mizuki's in like. kanade5 in march/april
other than that, don't have much to add. tsukasa instead of mizuki would work if they dgaf about the VD -> enstars lim gap. im feeling len on WD more though, tbh, but we'll see what they do...!
i agree with rin in the february unit event, and luka in either the perm mix this month or next, while meiko's in the other

i'm partially surprised it's len. it makes sense, i guess? both rin and len are both at 2 vbs commissions only so it was a 50/50 chance (i remember some people speculating touya rin len pu for some reason which. lol.)
on one hand, len finally has a permanent happy card! on the other hand, this greatly decreases his chances of appearing in valentine's day… it's not impossible, tho.
not really sure what to predict right now (permmix events are kinda hard to predict always), but luka should probably be in next event? miku is going to be at 22 4* because of the movie card, rin will probably appear in next month's hako, which is probably a coinflip between l/n & wxs, who are both at 2, too, so it's not that big of a deal? meiko is possible too ig, and kaito, but eh i don't feel it.

yeah len was a surprise... but his last vbs comm was like. flyer? so i was expecting him eventually. he was my initial VS spec for akito5, even
len seems pretty unlikely to be in VD now, imo. they haven't given a VS two 4* in a row (with a gap inbetween) since miku back in 1.5 anni... plus it'd be his 22nd 4*, so i don't think it's happening tbh
for the perm mix, i was actually thinking honakana, with either meiko or luka as the third 4*. mixeds lately have been focusing on old relationships (emumix2 being emumafu + emuhona, shihomix3 being hinomoris+tenmas, ruimix3 was kind of new but kohane being a wxs fan was established from the start, and then ny with akty+airiena), so i think honakana makes sense
on the other hand, VD... i've started to think it may be mizuminomafu lol. mafuyu really needs a 4* somewhere, but with kanade in the perm mixed, and ena in WD (because of niigo len), thats a lot of niigo events, so i genuinely think it could be mizumafu + minori. alternatively, they can do mafuminoshiho but that combo seems a bit random haha
or maybe they don't care about tsukasa getting the enstars lim and do VD tsukasa anyways?

oh yeah, the enstars collab… it's going to heavily depend on whether they have come with hairstyles or not. i doubt it, though.
i do think the wait between both lims would be outrageous though… basically 17&18 days. not even hairstyleless lims and normal lims (minori wl to wedding, kohane wl to vd, sanrio ena to vd) have such a short distance… oof.
i've seen some people spec for shizuku to be in vd, but i'm not really confident in them doing that (minori would be a better choice in that case tbh). i am still feeling tsukasa though, despite of what i mentioned.
also, while it's still a while before it, do you think 4.5 anni could be a vs event? it's also something i've been seeing speculated😭 i personally don't think so because we're essentially guaranteed 5 hakolims b2b and it seems like a better chance for all of them to appear there, but i'd like to see what you think!

also i Really really doubt 4.5 will be a VS event. vs wl will already take the yearly vs event spot, and as you said, we've got a lot of hakolims coming, and having most of them be 3OC would be odd, so i'd say we don't need to worry about 4.5 being a VS event at all

unsure about the mixed, though... thinking emoji. two mixeds of the same unit in a row is unlikely, so maybe it's like. niigo focus perm mix, then tsukasa VD? (i know he's getting enstars too but maybe they don't care. there's been shorter gaps between lims and WL cards, and collab cards would fall under the same "not-a-real-lim" category as WL cards)

we already have the ny's lineup fully confirmed (although it was leaked so not going to say it lol), but with those in mind, i think the permmix will come first? unless they want to do vbs 4* three events in a row so…

therefore, touya5 should be:
4* touya, kohane > an, vbs luka
3* an or kohane or akito or vbs rin?

touya is confirmed obviously, and while kohane seems like the more rational choice, an isn't really super due for an event card, while kohane is, so i'm not sure. akito also got a 3* and a mixed focus so i'm considering him being excluded from the set but. then it would be his 3rd time which is so… yeah.
valentine's remains the same (mafukasa + n25 len) but not sure about event cards lol.
also do you think miku's 4* from the movie may count as a limited? unlike magimirai i think this one may count because it's actually a card, but miku supposedly doesn't count for card rotation (not that there's one anymore lol) so yeah.
honestly the thing i'm concerned the most is how wild post 4.5 anni lineups are going to be… we straight up have 5 guaranteed hakolims, which is foul. will we get a wedding hakolim or will they actually not do it at all? i doubt it but you never know.

also, i spoiled myself on the NY stuff because. i can't avoid leaks for four days jfc, especially when it involves my oshi (so excited to roll... god....)
either way, specs time. i do agree the perm mix will probably go first because i doubt they'd do three banners in a row with 4* vbs chars. however, i dont agree with mmj rin, and im not so sure about a mmj char
niigo + leoni being the lineup makes the most sense to me, with niigo as the focus because they dont have a single mix3 yet lmao. maybe kanade + honami, or mafuyu + honami or ichika. and the third 4* being a VS, like niigo meiko (actually meiko's the most reasonable choice for the lineup lol. it'd be the same gap as bridal luka -> tsukasa5 luka), because it's too fast for niigo luka and rin makes more sense in touya5 because vbs rin's missing her BNW design in a card
niigo + mmj works... except it'd be minori bc we just got haruka and airi on NY, and shizuku's gotten 4* in november and december already. kanade+minori seems like a decent guess, although i hesitate because of the NY mixed already having mmj, so i lean more towards leoni

now, when it comes to touya5, i definitely think it's touya, kohane, vbs rin. rin's the VS with least event songs right now, so paired with the fact vbs rin needs her new design, this makes the most sense

either way, kind of... a messy stream. best thing of it (for me) was the NY banner, then it went downhill and kept going and going. culminating with the worst collab ever. goodness. im not really a hater but this genuinely a pretty bad stream
finally, for VD... niigo len seems like a safe bet, len HAS to happen and doing two mmj uscorer lims in a row is too cruel... so i'd say mafuyu + tsukasa works. maybe they surprise us with something unexpected, though, like mafurui or mizurui. or perhaps there's surprisingly a leoni char (shiho? mafushiho? not sure)

hi again! honestly surprised by the lineup. i had seen some people predict kohane (which, in hindsight, should've been more obvious to me), but rui was a bit of a surprise! this does probably mean the ny can be a n25 focus, though… kanade seems to fit greatly, but putting her with minori again… dear god we may be getting yet another airi lim aren't we😭
also, this is technically spoilers, but the event shop lineup is also great! i'm actually surprised they're been finally giving characters the rarities they're due… ichiena 2* and mizunene 3* for when though.
and finally… it being a rui focus does elevate the chances of next wxs event being emu6 instead of rui5, huh? it's not necessarily impossible for him to still be next: the nenemix3 to nene5 distance was comically short, but still.
as for my predictions for ny, i'll keep it short:
bf 4*: an (pure) & len (anything but cute)
4*: kanade, airi>minori, mmj kaito>n25 kaito (pure? hesitant bc of airi)
as for event shop, i was thinking ena 2*? but that's also very possible in the next n25 event. 3* could be airi if minori's the 4*, somehow, or mizuki, but i'm iffy on that one considering they were last year's ny focus… ugh😭

since we know which ones are getting covers:
- konton boogie is definitely wxs. i'd like ruikasa but full group seems possible too.
- snooze has a 50/50 chance of being mmj and n25, and the other choice doesn't help at all.
as for the hints: henk4 is 100% ch4nge, really liked that hint lol. vbs getting another giga song is a bit foul, but hey they're a match made in heaven for a reason! seeing some people say it could be anhane or full group (i'd rather have this as full group and hanaobore anhane…)

two things: omg that was longer than expected (regarding the vd post)… sorry for not answering lol. i think maybe you're right and it's n25, ideally i'd prefer mafuyu because mafukasa interaction but one of my current top choices for next permmix is her so i'm iffy… i guess it'd be okay, though? it's whatever at this point. i was thinking shizuku could still be possible but them doing her would be a 3/5 repeat of pandemonium… not that it's impossible (see: precious memories, bustling café and operation secret valentines all having sakiemuairi lol).
i'm honestly not sure about the ny's lineup at all so it's whatever atp… as for shiho5 being after honami5, i guess it's possible? not ideal, though, but eh. l/n does need to catch up in the rotation though… so as long as it isn't ichika6 or something weird (which reminds me, i've seen some posts about how emu6 could happen before rui5, have any idea what's up with that?)
i didn't mention it, but i feel an has a high chance of getting 2 lims in a row (ny bfes -> wd). she went over a year without a lim (2.5th anni -> an5) and she hasn't gotten a lim ever since so yeah.

i don't think they'll do a third n25 member for valentine's in a row, or at least i hope so, therefore i'm not really expecting mizuki. i agree i have no idea which other character could be. maybe shizuku? that without ignoring the high chance of it being 3 ocs considering all previous vd events have been like that lol, but you never know😭
well, i think there'll be a niigo char in VD because... there simply isn't many other choices. assuming they don't do 4* repeats, the choices are:
shiho (honami)
minori (shizuku)
an, akito (touya)
tsukasa, rui
mafuyu, mizuki
miku, meiko, kaito (rin, len, luka)
with the ones in brackets being chars that already have a 3 or 2* in a previous VD event
starting with the VS, meiko is likely not happening. she's only missing wxs uscorer, and that'd complete both her uscorer lims and the wxs uscorer lims. miku's a similar case, though she wouldn't complete the mmj uscorers so it's half-fine
kaito's likely on NY, and len has a pretty good chance too; however, if they break the lim cap, len can be here... except it'd be niigo len, so it already proves there'd be a niigo lim in VD lol
i can kinda see vbs rin or luka happening, but since rin is likely in touya5 due to being behind in songs, and luka was the event card last year... not really feeling it
leaving VS aside:
- shiho's already at 4* cap, and i doubt she'd break cap again so soon. this is also the main reason why i think shiho's not the next leoni focus; either that or leoni's not in january
- minori... can happen! but not really feeling her. i think there's a chance she's on NY
- an i think is more likely on NY (as bloomfes), while i can really see akito happening. but an can be on VD if akito's bloomfes, or there's no vbs bfes at all
- i think tsukasa has a HIGH chance of being there, and perhaps even the focus. on the other hand... i don't think it'll be rui. rui5 should be around then, so... yeah.
- mafuyu and mizuki are both possible, though i think it's more likely mafuyu if either, since she's more due for a 4* than mizuki. mizuena got 4* cards in mizuki5 and ena5, so kanade being on NY and mafuyu on VD makes sense... to me!
when it comes to the OCs that already have 3/2* cards:
- honami feels more likely to be in WD if anything to me
- shizuku same thing, although i admit there's a chance it's her. she's a 2* compared to the other two here
- and touya was just last year, so it feels too fast to repeat if they even did repeats imo
this leaves, pretty much:
akito, tsukasa, mafuyu... yeah, my cursed lineup spec. maybe shizuku if they don't mind repeating characters that have already had VD cards?
a bit iffy for now on my specs, but tsukasa+mafuyu VD seems like a good bet
