Instagram says some pictures are against the guidelines , but it is only a software that censors and that software is stupid as fuck. And on appeal the same software messages you to be in danger of having your account deleted. Is this the future? Some AI censors your freedom and enforces questionable claims without a person ever looking into it while the same AI lets go any hate speech and fascism promoting images? Thoughts?

Yes, sadly this is the future, Silicon Valley and big tech is crawling into bed with governments for the world's least sexy gangbang and any ideology that conflicts with or threatens their dogma in any way will be nuked from orbit

Instagram is a sketchy ass app, I've seen people's whole ass with a peek beyond that, and they got a free because of a nasty energy drink they were promoting.

Here are some "counterpoints" to your argument:

  • it's something described in their terms of service
  • Instagram is a commercial, but free to use, platform, and as such, you basically work for them, so they'll be picky about which pictures stays in it
  • every AI has biases, be it unintentional or intentional, so it has a chance to reach a wrong conclusion because of that
  • the company behind Instagram is an important worldwide political actor, and may shape its services to fit their interests
