I used to manage a mainframe and sometimes all I had to do was kick off jobs like that and load tapes (yes, we had tape backups still in use in the 2010s) and then sit there while the jobs took hours and fix any errors that happened - anyway I started bringing my personal laptop and used my phone hotspot and just played games and stuff like I was at home
