DIY a Starbucks at home: Brew some coffee and pour it in a bad smelling paper mug, say "kate" and write "cat" on it and throw a tenner out the window.

Ha ha! Your humor is to be admired, but i don't drink coffee, i think the taste is aweful.

A tenner? Wow was there a discount that day? 😂 nah really coffee is pretty much the last thing I would get at SB, the tea is where it's at

I like it. A fun rainy day activity for the kids.

If they get bored then just switch it up by playing working at Starbucks from home: do "a Starbucks at home" 900 times, except you don't get to drink coffee, and instead get to invite strangers in to berate you and make a mess, clean up after them, and keep $5 of the tenner

I never buy takeaway coffee from any of those places because it's not very good. If I do go to any of the chains I'll sit in because it's more about the sitting eating cake experience than the coffee experience. (I don't know the last time I was in a Starbucks. It's been years.)
