how did Rue meet her gengar? (since you mentioned they had a special bond, did something happen to cause that??)
Rue grew up in a family of mediums in Lavender town, and I’m her family they receive a “spectral familiar” which is essentially their first Pokémon.
These Pokémon aren’t actually caught or kept in a pokeball however! They are instead bound to their partners. (For example, Gengar stays in Rue’s shadow most of the time.)
The Pokémon is first found as a spirit who is either;
A) Showing great interest in the human already
B) Currently haunting someone
After finding a suitable spirit, there is a seance (which includes the haunted individual if there is one) where the two are linked together permanently.
In Rue’s case, there was a Haunter who would secretly follow child!Rue around, it’s unknown why or if there was any eventual I’ll intent. But it was essentially busted and given the offer to be selected as her spectral familiar. It accepted Rue because binding with her gave it the power to evolve into Gengar.

Luna: unsurprisingly she’s more quiet than usual. Although her expression and features are a lot more flushed than usual.
Blitzy: Happy drunk… she giggles a lot and tends to laugh til the point of tears.
Rue: Rue holds her alcohol very well, although she doesn’t really know when to stop. Absolutely a bigger flirt than usual

How was Luna's internship with the Aether foundation?
Did she run into any trouble relating to their work?
Luna’s internship went really well for the most part! Luna was exceptional with Pokémon Rehabilitation, and she proved to be incredibly smart in regards to Pokémon!
However there was one incident where Luna found out about an underground battle ring where Pokémon were incredibly mistreated, when a fieldworker brought in an injured and thrashing Pokémon. She acted brashly and without prior thinking (or forwarding said information to the proper authorities) took it upon herself to confront the dangerous crowd. Which ended up in Luna needing to be saved in this instance, and had a huge slice of humble pie (and a mountain of paperwork due to her carelessness)

Whats Luna's favourite passtime
Luna loves spending time with Pokémon, more so than with other people! So when she isn’t caring for her Pokémon, she’s really taken a liking to reading about them!
Luna is also very nocturnal and prefers to sleep in during the day. So naturally she enjoys laying under the stars and idly watching them and the Pokémon that come out during night. This developed tenfold when she learned of Hokulani Observatory in Alola!
