Admit it that you have a form of arts (musicians, authors, directors, anyone you don't want to be insanely famous) you want to gatekeep. No need to mention the name, just admit it.

Certainly, I will admit that there’s a particular artistic group, without naming names, that I’d like to protect to some extent. I genuinely want them to achieve a level of fame and recognition, but at the same time, there are moments when I relish the idea of keeping them as my own little treasure, appreciating their work without it becoming overwhelmingly popular. It’s that delicate balance between wanting them to succeed and wanting to savor their artistry.

i do have that kind of mindset in the past. but as time goes by i realized those artists deserve to get attention and love from many people too, so for now i prefer my artists to get the love and attention that they deserve
