So you believe contraception causes weight?

I'm not sure - do you mean birth control pills? They might, since they affect your hormones.

I have no idea but depends on what you take. Some probably change the hormones that can cause weight gain.

It is listed as a possible side effect on some contraceptive products as far as I know. But I never tested them.

It's a common side effect I've heard of. Never been on BC personally because I was never attracted to men until I started transitioning, and then when I started becoming attracted to men I talked to my doctor about BC and every option sounded terrible. I'll stick to dating people who can't get me pregnant
