Do you think religion and politics should mix?

Religion is inherently political, so it will always mix. However, I believe there should always be a separation between church & state.

No, because religious people tend to vote for the selfish, evil and fascist side.

mixing is inevitable with evangelical 'go forth and convert the masses' type religions, but people should really keep sky-daddy's rules out of public policy and work for the common good regardless of belief

Nope. All cases I do know from personal experience and history were fails. Fail is a term to indicate that innocent people faced cruel deaths and sufferings, mental and physical. Some European states never learned that and still incorporate religion into justice, education, politics, government. The results are bad.
