Took me a while to see this one, sorry for the time.
As much as I want to believe I wouldn't be the dumbass going down into the dark basement because I heard a sound over there, I feel like something similar could be what does me in š„“ I'd be the home alone character that hears something in their house and tries to see what the fuck it is.
At least I wouldn't be the horny character dying while having sex.
Also, I would definitely be one of the side characters that die, can't see myself being the final girl surviving a cliche 80's slasher-type film lol. And demons will definitely kill me because am not religious and will not ask for a priest to come.

Iām the type of person to close my eyes, cover my ears and pretend whateverās happening isnāt happening lmao,, Iād probably die first.. but maybe at the end of the story my ghost comes back to help the final survivor(s) in an epic show of bravery :^)
Alternatively, I could be the one side character who knows incredibly niche but surprisingly useful info to help with survival.. I have so many little facts memorized,, I can tell you that a group of crows is called a āmurderā or that Dr Seuss invented the word ānerdā or that the reefback leviathan sounds in subnautica are just slowed down audio of people yelling.. I canāt tell you how to do taxes though.. or how to do long division.. or how to change a tire.. my brain only likes impractical info :ā)

Maybe the "It disappeared when they lost eye contact and now they're not sure it was even there"? Though "A chase scene with the super dramatic music and silly/comedic ways a slasher gets knocked down" feels fitting too!

Fun fact, I hate being chased. Ever since I was a kid I would literally turn into an armadillo and roll into a ball anytime someone would chase me. I will say I'm pretty good at hiding but one I'm being chased it's over for me. So yeah, definitely the first to die.
However, I will also so say that I will 100% try to seduce the monster/killer. It will untimately lead to my death, but man... what a hell of a way to die.

def would die first but then i'd come back as a zombie or something during the climax of story, forcing the main character to desperately search for any remnants of humanity left in my eyes, the eyes of their best friend, before they ultimately decide to stab/shoot me with [insert zombie killing weapon here] and then are left with gnawing hollowness of the knowledge that i died at their hand in the end.
(i haven't watched too many horror movies... does this happen in any of them? lol)

I'll be a reasonable person but ended up dragged away by others via peer pressure, killed first by the ghost. Nothing is explained even after the movie ended. Critics hate me bcs I'm not given actual character development, only killed for a mere jumpscare. Film watchers hate me bcs I'm a whiny scaredy cat who choose to run away from danger. Artist dislike my design bcs it's too bland and ended up giving me ooc characteristics. Fanfic writers loves me and conspire I'm actually the ghost bcs I was killed first (and often paired with the mc). Cosplayers loves me bcs my clothes are simple and cheap to do.
