I have no idea, I never saw the appeal myself. I want to say peer pressure,perhaps with influence from home . Stress maybe.

I had another dream about starting to smoke today, I get these urges to start whenever I'm stressed or anxious

Because they are smart enough not to believe the media and politics

Peer pressure or to look cool. Maybe as an act of rebellion.

They take a look around the world and say "Hold up, these things will kill me faster? Sign me up!"

Its what cool grown ups do... or peer pressure.

Peer pressure, so they feel they have to act and do certain things to fit in. Others maybe are genuinely just stress smokers. Others are just douchey and wanna impress/look hard. Depends on the person, I guess

Cos I felt like an adult or something. It was a kind of coming of age ritual. I did it alone too.
