Vehemently against! It's genital mutilation no matter which gender it is. It's immoral and criminal. It's sexual assault. Cutting off part of someone's genitals is sexual assault. People have a right to intact genitals and to not be harmed. It's an unnecessary cosmetic procedure done to a helpless, non-consenting baby. Needlessly modifying people's bodies without their consent is wrong. It's barbaric. It's torture. Male genital mutilation changes the brain and causes PTSD. Foreskins exist for a reason! Several reasons actually, including for sex. Foreskins have 20,000 nerve endings. That means MGM is extremely painful. It's been likened to sticking something under you fingernails and ripping them off. The asshole doctors and nurses lie about boys sleeping right through it. The babies scream bloody murder and go into shock from the pain. They're not asleep! They're in shock! Their bodies shut down because of the pain and trauma. MGM greatly reduces sexual pleasure for males. MGM and FGM were both invented to reduce sexual pleasure to make people easier to control. MGM was promoted in the US as a cure for masturbation. Intact penises are self-lubricating. The foreskin protects the head of the penis which is supposed to be internal. MGM causes keratinization of the head/glans. Foreskins allow for gliding instead of friction during sex and masturbation. MGM can lead to erectile dysfunction. It decreases sensitivity which can make orgasming more difficult and nearly impossible with a condom. There are no health benefits! The "health benefits" rhetoric is a crock of shit. MGM doesn't prevent STDS and intact penises are easy to clean. Circumcisions can and often do get botched which can mean accidentally cutting off more than just the foreskin. Circumcision can have a lot of terrible complications in addition to the intended damage including infections, loss of too much blood, death, etc. Some boys' penises had to be amputated as a result of things going wrong! MGM is big business. It's very profitable for doctors and for corporations who use foreskins to make expensive skin creams. People wrongly try to force the foreskin to retract. You're not supposed to do that. It'll become able to retract on its own in adolescence. Doctors in the US are not properly taught about male genitals. They don't know how penises are supposed to look and be. They don't know what foreskins are for, that forcible retraction is bad and how to take care of intact penises. They don't know what foreskins are for but they know they can make money from cutting them off! I associate with intactivists on Twitter and post about MGM quite a lot. I became aware of how evil MGM/circumcision this year. I'm angry and resentful about being circumcused. I wish my body was the way it's supposed to be and that I could feel all the pleasure I'm supposed to be able to feel.
