I'm surprised, I thought they got tons of donations. I heard they're very strategic with using all that money to place politicians in power who would be supportive of gun rights. Maybe if they actually ran out of money, for some reason, the world will become a slightly better place..

Yeah, they just shift the money somewhere else in fear the new administration will be after them. But why would they? NRA is one of the holy grails and a not so pressing subject right now.

It was a while coming, been in NY's crosshairs, as they say, for years... it's like they say though, it won't go away completely, they will restructure and continue their mission from God, no wait, from Satan...that NRA statement sounds very Trump-like: "We are not broke, we are super rich and have tons of money you guys, NOBODY has more money than us!" Anyway if they become desperate enough, there might come a day where the NRA starts throwing individual gun owners in front of the bus in order to protect gun manufacturers and retailers AKA the biggest donors, should be interesting
