They say rejection only makes a stalker crazier. What's the best way to ward one off then?

Apparently its talk to them, breaks the mystique. I'd be hesitant to follow the advice though.

Turn the tables - stalk THEM, ask them to do batshit blood loyalty oaths and just generally outcrazy them :-P

If they're the annoying fifty messages a day type, send them ninety back. If they're the secretive peeping Tom type ask them to do all sorts of daft photos of themselves in public places in Broad daylight . If they're the proper scary type mention your cousin in the Navy Seals.
