Why do you think engineers and particularly engineering majors are so full of themselves? Seems to be a common denominator https://imgur.com/gallery/ogXhRib

I don't. If anything I see that self-bolstering attitude as more of a collage/university attendee thing than a particular course (ultimately its a singular personality trait harboured in particular groups and settings though).

I’ve only ever met and interacted with a few— one of my college roommates is an engineer, and he’d on occasion have some of his friends (who were also engineering majors)over to the apartment. I liked them. They were overall nice guys. A few of my colleagues husbands are also engineers and they also seem like nice men. So, i guess that hasn’t been my experience. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They have a difficult job that everyone views as difficult. They know it and they relish in it. Just look at Bill Nye. homeboy needs to stay in his lane

I work with tons of them in a research lab and I've found it to be either/or: completely chill or completely up themselves, nothing in between

I am an engineer, lol. Or should I say 'engineerette' hahahahahahaha. That sounds so dismissive and belittleling.
