would you rather be fond of “best friends to lovers” or “love at first sight” trope, people? why?

Love at first sight. I don't have a clear reason, it's just that I prefer that kind of poetic thingy. I don't think I'll date my bestfriend, though.

I’ve always held on to the fact that dating your best friend is never a good idea. I’d very much rather develop a silly little crush on a stranger, than to full on harbour feelings for my best friend—I cannot imagine what will happen to the friendship when romantic feelings are involved, especially when it goes south. Yikes.

i prefer love at first sight, if you ask me why, quite simply, i don't want my friendship to be ruined later just bc one or even both of them fall in love. falling in love is a risky thing, will you be happier or will you return to being strangers like you first met.

Love at first sight. I don't think I'll date a friend, though. But, still. The possibility does still exist. If I, one day end up experiencing the first situation, it probably means I have never seen them as a mere friend.

love at first sight. Pernah punya pengalaman buruk "best friends to lovers" pas putus kehilangan sahabat dan pacar.

Both. But when I have a rls with someone it's always start with "bestfriends to lovers", if it's "love at first sight" sometimes errrr— it's not always working on me to have a rls with them. Istilahnya cuman sampai di NT kebanyakan. :D

Love at first sight.. I can't afford losing a friend just because we have to break up..

do you mean the kind of story's trope i cherishes more or me being the trope itself? either way, it doesn't really matter tho. i would choose the 'love-at-first-sight' trope.

i guess love at first sight... soalnya kalo misalnya bff to lovers kalo putus pasti awkward gaksih... WEKEKEK (tp boleh sih tp ya gt)

Kalo aku sih lebih ke love at first sight, karena aku gabisa jatuh cinta sama temen sendiri.
