So bandits have built around 200 affordable apartment buildings in impoverished areas. Now the city administration is demolishing them because they're supposedly being used for drug money laundering. What are your thoughts on that business?

They wanna provide jobs. Destroy then build. This is what Descartes warned about. When someone makes you do opposite things, they will make you commit atrocities. In that sense. In this case the atrocities is taking tax money for no reason.

Wtf? In case the standard of building those is ok and you could let people actually live in there without harm or danger you should seize the buildings and rent it out for cheap to those who cannot afford a high rent. In case the buildings are made from junk and will hardly survive and will collapse the next rain season, just demolish those, yes.

I know what money laundering is (kinda), and I know what drug money is, but I have no idea what drug money laundering is.

But as for demolishing the buildings, that seems ridiculous! Why destroy perfectly good buildings just because of what they're used for? Just kick out and maybe arrest all the people using them for illegal purposes, seize the property and repurpose it!
