on pizza: what's takuto, zenkichi and shuji's fave flavours lol. Also, scale who's not smoking/infrequent smoker to on their way to getting lung cancer between them lol
Oh man I think Takuto LOOOVES pineapple pizza. Zenkichi would take anything with meat, basically whatever goes best with beer. Shuji would usually go for margherita I think, very classy. As for smoking... Takuto smokes VERY rarely, maybe once a month. He always has a pack on him tho just in case (he also probably has a vape lol since he's not the biggest fan of cig smell). Zenkichi used to smoke in his youth but dropped it once he became a father. He begun heavily smoking again after Aoi's death. He slowed down eventually, but still does it occasionally, maybe after a hard day of work. Shuji doesn't smoke often, but he smokes A LOT. Like if Takuto would do one cig per month, Shuji would do half a pack on one day once per month. Basically all of them are fucked, but Takuto is a little less fucked, but even then it's arguable since Zenkichi actually looks after himself, does exercise etc, unlike the other two doofuses

There's Chernobog, slavic god of death and misfortune. I think he'd also vibe with Nurgle, one of the chaos gods in WH40K but that's copyright infringement lol His inspiration, Nergal, doesn't give Shuji tho. I'm also thinking maybe Atropos? I mean she and her sisters are the daughters of Nyx and Thanatos is their brother sooo... kinda perfect.

Now that I actually know who Takuto is, thoughts on Shuji X A Takuto at the height of his godhood/ideal reality thing? Ideal reality has settled, Shuji is unchanged, if finding himself incapable of killing himself because death does not exist (it cannot, else it cause pain). Basically Takuto "I can fix him" mentality snapping at being involved with someone so unhelpable (or is he)... Toxic yaoi lol. I suppose Takuto could put him to sleep like he did with Ren in the bad end, but assume he decides to take on Shuji's case personally I guess.
the above isn't really a question, so here is a proper one: When do you think is Takuto's and Zenkichi's birthdays? How do they celebrate it? Zenkichi has Akane and the thieves throwing something for him for sure (so cute omg), but I'm struggling to imagine Takuto's being anything besides something small if anything... :(
This is a tricky one bc at the base Takuto isn't doing what's the best for the person, he explicitly only grants their wishes. I think what he'd do is try to find the root cause of Shuji's outlook on his own life and change it. E.g. if Shuji's desire to die/end the world stems from said world being "unsavable" and "ruined", Takuto would just make said world a better place for him and maybe mess a little with his head, just a bit tho. But I also like the idea of Takuto trapping Shiju is his palace/lab and keeping him on a short leash :3
Zenkichi actually has a canon bday - October 1st! The bday tweet was also about Akane getting the thieves together and preparing smth nice for him! As for Takuto tho I think he throws a tiny celebration for himself, not really telling anyone. We've had this discussion already, but I really still don't have a hc for when his bday is. Some say he's a taurus and ok, I'm fine with it, but I'm not an astrology girlie to comment on that.

Shuji meets Maruki, what would they be like?
These two research freaks would blab about cognitive psience for hours while drinking tea and eating cookies. Takuto would notice a "block" of sort whenever they would talk about anything personal tho. It's like Shuji is always giving him surface-level knowledge, wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle. Takuto would try to find out what his desire is, but Shuji would always lie or change the subject. Would he ever fins out about his true desire? Probably not. But if he did... hoo boy, I think Takuto would try to neglect this one, ahahah.
Now Shuji would think that Takuto would be the first in line to destroy the world for everything it had done to him and his loved ones, but, surprisingly, no, he chose to save it, to make it better. Shuji doesn't understand him, and he never will. They are fundamentally different people with different worldviews and different experiences.
Despite everything, Takuto loves.
Due to everything, Shuji hates.
And it's fine. They can still drink their tea and pretend everything is good and well. They can pretend until the stars burn out.

Apologies for all the stray AU ideas but: Any ideas about whether Shuji could've felt some kind of remorse for his actions/deception, even stopping before the 12th Shadow's defeat? (Yeah Death is coming regardless, but it'd take a while.)
Idk, just imagining an au where Shuji's mask cracks alongside the 11 shadows being defeated, with him making an attempt on his own life/whilst coming clean to SEES etc. It fails, and the operation to kill the 12th Shadow doesn't go ahead either. Shuji has to live and face the repercussions, SEES has to flounder in what to do next and what to do with him, since it's not canon levels unforgivable (Well. Assuming he stopped all the background experiments on Sho and Strega kids post explosion. Still tough redemption 😂)
I don't think Shuji would feel any sort of remorse. On the contrary the closer he gets to the Fall the morw elated he becomes, more laser-focused. It's very apparent in how his demeanor changes the closer we get to the 12th shadow. He doesn't even joke anymore, he's serious bc he knows he can't mess this up. He wanted this for 10 goddamn years, he ain't backing out now. What you've described is very VERY AU and OOC, which is fine, the characters are mere barbie dolls you can play with however you want, but I, personally, can not imagine this, sorry.

Well we already know he's a lightweight, and he also must be aware of it himself, so he probably doesn't drink much. If he does it's in the comfort of his home and by god he's miserable. Not "screaming crying throwing up" kind of miserable, but more "dear god i wish i was dead" kind of miserable. Tho these thoughts are never coherent and he can't control himself enough to even pick up a knife so most of the time he just falls asleep on the hard cold floor and wakes up the next day sore all over

Shuji's birthday: any thoughts about what he thinks of it/what he does? Also any thoughts as to when it is haha xD
No one knows when Shuji's bday is except Shuji himself and the HR department at the Kirijo Group. He, obviously, doesn't talk about it much and doesn't celebrate it at all, at least not publicly. Maybe he buys a slice of his favorite cake and eats it with a nice cup of tea. This is good enough for him. And when it comes to when his actual bday is I like to do the Katekyo Hitman Reborn thing when I transcribe their names as numbers, which, in Shuji's case, gave me two options:
January 4th (「い」->「一」->「１月」 and 「しゅ」->「死」->「４日」)
September 1st (「いくつき」 stylized to read as 「一(日)九月」)
+ one extra: April 4th (the edgy double 「死」variant)

Why do you think Strega never brings up what a traitor Shuji is to SEES 🤔 Or am I missing something and they only got to know of his true intentions after his death? This is mostly because they protected some of the Shadows, thinking their elimination would end the Dark Hour, yet knew of Shuji's deceptive nature with SEES? It's really wild to me how even Mitsuru cants seem to dig up Kirijo group dirt lol
They probably weren't aware of Shuji's intentions and the truth about the Fall cuz, apparently, NO ONE but Shuji was. Which is kinda wild. Tbh both Strega and Mitsuru were quite young so they might not remember all the details. However I still can't comprehend how granddaddy Kirijo managed to hide smth as huge as the true purpose of his research from his own son is baffling to me. Really shows how they weren't even remotely close to each other

puts this idea here: Sad/depressed vampire Shuji au, where he never leaves his house, and just starves himself (he can live without the blood, and has never found any appeal in killing nor depending on others for his own sustenance. (I'm robbing this man who wants to die so much his ability to die, basically)
Enter, regular human Takeharu who lands in his doorstep injured, torso drenched in blood. Shuji nurses him back to health with little else to do, whilst Takeharu is baffled as to why this strange vampire doesn't harm a hair on his head (Perhaps most other vampires of this universe are almost rabid in their hunger). Anyway, as Takeharu recovers, he keeps the obviously lonely vampire company, maybe even learns a thing or two about how much it sucks (hah) to be a vampire.
A lot of the set-up here is mostly for Shuji to rekindle a little bit of passion in his life. As Shuji's interest and feelings for Takeharu grow, his warm blood becomes more and more enticing to Shuji, in a way he's never felt before. They eventually fuck and Shuji takes a bite at Takeharu's pleading, with shuji having an orgasmic experience from drinking his delicous blood.
Lol TLDR all this is just musing some slow-ish burn of Shuji being stirred alive by the kind handsome man that face planted in his doorstep psft.
