yesss he's a rebound shunxiang gets around a month after he and tadatsugu break up! bronislav's purpose in the story is to showcase to shunxiang that his behavior in he and tadatsugu's relationship was not okay. bronislav is like shunxiang but worse and far more apparent in his unhealthy behavior and borderline emotional abuse ... he and shunxiang's relationship serves as a wake-up call for shunxiang to push him to better himself and to not end up like bronislav. bronislav is that type of person that is bad, knows they are bad, refuses to and doesn't WANT to change for the better. he is okay with the way he is, even if its not good, and he doesn't care what he does and if it hurts other people! he's the epitome of what shunxiang would become if he doesn't change his ways

no matter the verse i can easily see naoya outright refusing any first dates if he's not the one initiating it. he believe's its a man's job to do that sort of thing (shunxiang is a cisgender man what is naoya yapping about? stop him at once). he'd take shunxiang out to a very fine dining and elite restaurant like the very traditionalist stuff. he's not the type to enjoy other sorts of dates like picnics or movies because he thinks they're stupid. pays the bill, lets shunxiang get whatever he wants ... the conversation feels more like an interview if i'm being honest ??? thats especially with jjk naoya, but with naoya in other modern verses, i feel like it'd be toned down a little but any date with him Would NOT be casual! they both date to marry and don't believe in dating for fun

invites shunxiang back to his home afterwards i think. if it were anybody else and they said no he'd call then a bitch, ghost them and be the worst situationship of their lives but shunxiang unfortunately says yes. What happens next? Heh....

chengjie doesn't have any unpleasant thoughts on tadatsugu and they kind of shut their brain off whenever shunxiang begins talking negatively about him, because as much as he loves shunxiang as a friend he isn't one to believe in partial, biased stories especially when they're about love cause thats so personal to him. he hopes tadatsugu is doing well and would love to sit down and have a coffee chat with him if they ever met

they met shunxiang when chengjie came up to him asking for help to get to his apartment because he doesn't have a phone and he forgot his way. when shunxiang gave him directions chengjie just said "okay :)" and walked over to him and held his hand because he expected him to lead the way dhfhehdhdheb AND HE DID! he couldn't say no to him. they talked the entire way and they became friends
