I sympathize and I'm fine with her handling - she can cry if she wants to, it's right there in the lyrics! Point of order though - by 'my party' is she the host or the guest of honor ( her birthday, e.g.)? as a host you have an obligation to your guests happiness and crying is no way to entertain them! As the guest of honor she can in fact cry and everyone is obligated to comfort her and shit talk that harlot Judy for ruining the big day - if JUDY was the host and sneaked off with Johnny then vandalism of her place is permitted.
