What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life?

Because I can assess this?
I know a lot of the crap (most) stupid kids do when they're coming up … (maybe just what I did?) either way a lot of that you have to go through. People can talk you out of it all day long. Unfortunately sometimes you just have to go there ☹.
"Don't take [X] for granted, Enjoy it while you have it." …because you can actually do that. It's not a bad thought to have in mind, do your best at it, but being aware and actually going through "a loss", are two different things. The flip-side if you're in constant mourning, it's difficult to enjoy a thing.
"Save your money" / "Spend your money" … probably best to favor the former, though some benefits for the latter.
"Don't be an a-hole." I think there are moments when it has its benefits, but usually it makes life difficult and outweighs the benefits. You don't have to be super-nice, but try not to go there.
"Initially treat people well, then reciprocate"(?) I'm usually just nervous & anxious, but if I could have some control this at least sounds like a good idea.
"Relationships make you more of what you already are." (?)
"Develop varied and complementary talents" (?)
That they can health in their own hands very often.

Go for the adventures while you are young enough to recover from them.
