Tell me about a time you gave up and it turned out to be the right choice.

I've given up on eating takeout food for a couple of months. I've been eating only home-made food. Also, I've been eating a lot of vegetables. How was this the right choice? Excuse me for saying this but I haven't had diarrhea for months!! Back then when I used to order food I experienced stomachache probably every week!

I've quit 2 jobs, one was basically a 'multi-level marketing company' disguised as a door-to-door charity mugger (advertised as a Sales and Marketing Assistant) and the other I left as it felt like it called itself a business it was not - or a least no longer going to be (blah blah we're super accredited blah blah). Both would have been awful during covid.

All that I was talking the other day about walking away from my government gig, just wish I had done it sooner, or never took it in the first place...sometimes you have to stop throwing good money after bad, cut your losses and move on

Before I switched to Physics on uni I started with Electronics Engineering it was so much like first grade school with all the silly learning by heart and repeat after me teaching and lecturing style I gave up after a year.

I always tried to make any personal relationship in my life work..no matter what. Even if the price was not caring about me or my needs or happiness...I gave up that shit.
