I'm sitting in a hotel parking lot trying to process my evening. I had been invited for dinner/booze by a young lady who after we met asked if it was OK if her parents joined us. It was an ambush SMH it was a 'coincidence' they were close by but I don't buy it for a second... Anyway I said yes because what else am I gonna say? So I guess everything went fine and I questioned her about it after and she apologized so I'm less annoyed. Though there is one thing I texted that I don't have an answer for yet: what do THEY think I am to you? What have you told them about me? I got a hotel room in advance because I know myself and I would be exhausted and probably drunk (and maybe not alone) afterwards and here I sit wondering where my life went wrong, part of me wishes I had just gotten married and had three kids, but the smarter half of me knows that would just end up with me having an ex wife and 3 kids who low-key hate me, I cannot wait to read this sober

I'm at work, and I got here by car. However, my job is interesting in that it's an organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, and I'm also someone with a disability. I think that they felt like I could empathize with others who have disabilities too.
