Why do people often assume that fat people has high cholesterol levels? And anemia is related to thin people?

They also assume that you can’t be a diabetic if you’re within a moderate weight range. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because simplifying things makes them right some of the time (without having to put much effort in).

I'm really thin and with my cursed "diet", I wouldn't be surprised if my cholesterol levels are high. The thing is people assume there is always one cause for being over/under-weight but the truth is the human digestive/metabolic system is far more complex than that.

I guess it's because it's statistically more likely that someone has high cholesterol levels when he is obese or that someone has anemia when he is thin.
Sadly because it's comfortable and easy many people like to oversimplify the world and just assume that characteristics that occur more often within a certain group must be true for all members of that group.

Because people are so easily propagandized and once a GD lie is repeated enough it 'becomes' the truth
