ophelia finished school! although ophelia started out well in college when she moved to unova, her grades began to decline as she paid them less attention and instead put more effort into constructing her own devices. she majored in astrophysics but delved into engineering on her own terms.

Ilex has been to PS 273, Libi Taire High School, and Lumiose University where she majored in engineering. In all 3 she never spoke to anyone and got golden grades. Holland went to the first two but went somewhere else for college where he majored in astronomy.
Yes, Elio and his siblings did go to school before going on their respective journeys and career paths. Typically, they were all A+ students - but Elio was the best and most talented among them; they all graduated early by 16, which is when Elio started his journey around Unova (estimated, to be two years prior to the events of BW).
Since the academy that Elio went to was akin to a university, while majoring in the basics of Contest and Trainer Battles, he also majored in business and investments - which became critical in further building his finances for his personal journey and inevitable emancipation from his grandfather (in a good way!). Typically, he also minored in medicine due to his family business being centrally focused in the medical field in lieu of them running a conglomerate. They're required to have a certain level of medical skills per the dictation of Ardyn.
Kingston: Law School. I wanna say... he was good enough to maintain his scholarship and graduate with high marks but he definitely was not The Best (tm) considering Law school is generally VERY competitive. I think he gained a lot more recognition after he started practicing as a Lawyer and proved his skills in the 'real world'... as college profs like to put it haha
Ruth would've been home schooled from aether but would also have taken online classes on extra subjects she had interest in ;;;o;;; she's very good at retaining information and is almost a walking encyclopedia of anything related to pokemon, plants, UB or ultraspace.
Odd did go to school, both High School and College.
The experience as a whole was... "Something", as Odd would put it. Objectively, he was a very good student, to the point where he was able to finish early both High School (a little before he turned 16) and College (around the time he turned 19), where he majored in theoretical physics with a minor in antimatter studies.
That being said, pushing himself that hard for his studies was kind of done at a detriment to his health, the stress amplifies migraines being a particular painful issue. Even with all of that, though, he still appreciates some of the experiences he had, the small handful of friends he made, and some of the educators he got to work with.
I'm pretty sure none of my chars finished a full term of post-secondary education lmao. All of them dropped it to pursue other ventures right away.
It worked out for all of them.
Jin was homeschooled at her Shifu's school, when she was younger she was more inclined to training instead of things like...math. She took her lessons more seriously later XD.
Mary went to a rich kid school as well as having private tutors up until she was 15 and she lost her parents and then she didn't really attend school after recovering. She DID end up getting the equivalent of her GED tho.
Celeste is actually going to school for her doctorate in astronomy! She gets great grades ^w^
