What's your experience with VR?

I have limited experience with it, but I have always enjoyed it when I did. My friend has some VR games and we played against each other.

I had a janky setup involving Steam In-Home Streaming for Elite: Dangerous once. Haven't bothered since.

Been playing with my Quest 2 for 2-3 months now and I'm enjoying it. Sure it's not high-end and AirLink's quality isn't that great (but consistent) but playing H3VR, HL Alyx, and other nice titles makes it worth it

I had a cardboard thingy that I used a few times and never touched again
would love to get into VR but I'm a cheap ass.
I do have the room for a VR setup if I clean up a little though.

friend let me test their shiny new oculus many years ago like right after it released and i played a short demo it was pretty rad
that's all my experience with VR

I bought a second hand HTC Vive headset with no controllers, and just the one base station. My PC at the time was, mediocre. Think I had an AMD FX8350 and my trusty GTX970 (still in service). Elite Dangerous just about ran with VR, and the one base station was okay for seated VR but I still had issues with it occasionally fading to grey.

Eventually I just sold it and haven't touched or looked at getting VR since.
