What is it like to have a beard? I mean, c'mon, isn't that itchy on your face?
My husband says that it is itchy and causes some pain when it’s coming in, but not afterward.
My facial hair only grows in the goatee area (between the upper lip and nose, and the chin area). That's probably one of the reasons people sometimes think I'm a high schooler. I shave the goatee area every day. I haven't had any itching problems TBH.
Idk, I don't have one and never did and I don't want one
Generally any hair, be it on my face or on my head, create an overpopulation of a certain skin fungus which lets the skin react with itchyness, scaling and inflammation.
Theoretically I could remove all the hair to have it stopped, or I use shampoo which contains muriatic acid on every place where I've got this issue.
It can be itchy for sure, but I think that's just at a certain phase (like 2-3 weeks in). After that I have heard that the itchiness goes away. I prefer just some stubble or a 5 o'clock so I haven't really grown a long one.
Yeah it gets itchy, but it's something you get used to...I keep clean shaven 90% of the time these days though, as a public service - if I get that stubble and beard going it sets all the hearts aflutter and civilization grinds to a halt
Yeah, it gets itchy if I don’t take care of it every day. And scratchy.
I don't know yet, I think my genetics don't allow beards
It does get itchy and such, but you need to time your grooming sessions. Otherwise you'll shave and no one will notice ;)

I get mixed feelings when I see kisses between a beard and a non-beard. I mean a beard that is so long and close to the mouth that you fill the mouth of the other person with wire hair?
