Your fridge is empty and you have a budget for food for two days. What do you shop?

Beans, eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, chiles, onions, garlic, cheese, tortillas or corn flour (maseca) to make tortillas. Maybe some ground beef and/or chicken. Bread peanut, butter, jam.

Yogurt and spicy noodles, also lots of rice and beans, or maybe something calorie dense like peanut butter

You didn't say which food. In which case I'd just buy 2 days of caviar, sell it, and get a month of normal food.
